RI Residency Applications
All students applying for in-state status must submit the Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ Residency Application for Tuition Purposes Form accompanied by the documentation listed. Incomplete applications will be returned. Classification as a resident student becomes effective with the beginning of the term following the determination of residency. The was established by the Rhode Island Office of the Postsecondary Commissioner.

Applicants from MA, CT, ME, NH, VT, NY, NJ, and Pike County PA can attend Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ at a 40% discount.* As a social mobility leader, we offer more than $11,000 off of out-of-state tuition to our Northeast Neighbors.
*New students from NY and NJ matriculating in the Fall 2025 semester and forward now qualify for our Northeast Neighbor discount.
